Provider of domiciliary care services Claimar Care (CCGP:AIM) has added to its string of acquisitions and bought Ravenscroft One, the parent company of Ravenscroft Homelink and Practicare, for a maximum consideration of £2.9 million.
Ravenscroft Homelink and Practicare are domiciliary care providers in Preston Lancashire, and currently employ around 370 care workers.
Having already been working with Lancashire County Council, this latest acquisition means that Claimar will become the largest provider of domiciliary care services to Lancashire County Council. The deal is expected to be earnings-enhancing in the current year.
Claimar has made several purchases over the past six months, and chief executive Mark Hales says the pipeline for further opportunities remains strong, with the group in discussions with a number of possible vendors. Despite the positive news, the shares slipped 3% to 106.5p.
Shares says: Continues to strengthen its position in the market, and current share price weakness provides a good buying opportunity.
