The group’s winter crop audit undertaken by the Scottish Agricultural College is encouraging. Wheat and oil seed rape were both ‘well established’ before the onset of winter, while losses were kept to a minimum over the colder months, under 3%, significantly below the norm in the Ukraine. Up around 15% on our original 79.5p tip (Shares 7 Feb ‘08), there is more to come from the shares.
