Fourth major contract win makes the data software specialist an attractive call
by Rachel Robson
Contract wins seem to be pretty high on the agenda for voice and data software specialist, AT Communications, which recently secured its fourth major contract this year. The company’s Rocom division has clinched a deal with Ericsson UK to act as its Master UK Distributor for all of its voice, data and mobility applications for small, medium and large enterprises. As a result, Rocom will be the UK’s only trade distributor of Ericsson’s Enterprise Portfolio.
Ericsson has a global installed base totalling 37 million extensions and is one of the primary system brands within the UK’s large enterprise and public sector space, highlighting the significance of the deal for AT Communications. The contract will also bring in several million pounds of additional revenues for the company, with its Servassure division providing all ongoing maintenance.
At the end of March, AT Communications also won a UK distribution deal with Avaya, a global provider of IP telephony, which will provide £7 million of revenues to the group over the next two years.
Further wins this year include a three-year contract with De La Rue, a currency production and cash handling firm, and a two-year deal to supply communications equipment to Amazon. ‘I expect this trend to continue and look forward to reporting further progress in due course,’ says chief executive Alex Tupman.
